The pool party was MEGA fun. I rolled out of bed on the day of the party to a violent storm and figured that our plans were in jeopardy! However, a quick phone call to our gracious hosts confirmed that after dropping mega bucks on an ass-load of booze, there was no way the party wasn’t happening. When we first arrived at the house around 1:30 pm the sky was overcast, and to make matters worse, there was no power running to the house! The storm from earlier in the day had wiped out the electricity to the entire neighborhood. So… we sat around, got drunk, and focused our collective attitudes on changing the laws of nature. By 3:00 pm the sun was shining and the power was restored. More and more people showed up, and the party concluded at 4:00 a.m. with a drunken skinny-dip session!
Huge thanks are to be extended to Jeff and Jon Mitchell for hosting such a rockin party. At no point in time were our bellies or our glasses not filled to the brim with scrumptious food or dangerously alcoholic blender drinks. A huge thanks also goes out to the other DJ’s who showed up to rock it proper with us: Joseph Bartuski and Jon Ackerman.
Until next time…
