Attitude City: Voodoo Edition

Attitude City moves north of the border to celebrate All Hallow’s Eve. Concurrently, Twin Cities’ resident man about town, Jeff Dubois celebrates his gruesome champagne birthday, as his odometer clicks over to 28 on the 28th. Jeff joins long time cronies Davey Lahteenmaa and David Shaw in Montreal for a 3 DJ rotating spectacle. All things Attitude city will be in full effect, as we drink evil spirits, sport our finest blood-stained wears, and wiggle our leprous zombie asses to the best beats this side of Hades. Dress up! Drink Up! Get Down!

Pirate Radio Broadcast Tonight: 97.7 FM

Friday, October 21st, 2005

Attitude City and Andrew Wood will be hosting a private broadcast party from the roof of Harmon Works Studio in downtown Minneapolis starting at midnight. So what does this mean for you? If you are in the downtown Minneapolis area tonight, particularly the Loring area, tune in your radio to 97.7 FM from midnight until 4:00 am for the raddest music this side of 1976.

Additionally, if you want to come kick it with us during the broadcast, have some cocktails, listen to music, and shout the occasional lewd comment on the air, then email attitudecity@gmail.com for direction/info.

Love and kisses,

Attitude City: Vikings Sex Cruise Edition BUSTED!

Monday, October 17th, 2005

Sadly the high-profile Attitude City Sex Cruise for Minnesota Vikings players was shut down prematurely as crew members became uncomfortable with the extreme attitude associated with our event.

From a local TV station:

The Hennepin County Sheriff’s office is investigating reports that a party on a pair of cruise boats, arranged by Attitude City DJs Karl Frankowski and Jeff Dubois, included nudity, lewd behavior and sex acts. Loud insanely-awesome music, ‘cris poppin,’ and a party-time atmosphere were also reported.

Sheriff Pat McGowan says as many as 900 people were on board the two boats.

The party Thursday night was described as an event with Vikings players and a number of women who were naked and dancing to the hottest italo-disco beats.

That’s the last time we book a sex cruise with Al and Alma’s Lake Minnetonka Charter service.

Twin Cities Fashion Weekend Preview Event

Tuesday, October 4th, 2005

This Friday, October 7th will be the special “press only” preview party for the Twin Cities Fashion Weekend. This event will showcase the work of local independent designers and feature a special preview runway show at the Minnesota Museum of American Art (MMAA) in beautiful downtown St Paul.

Music will be provided by yours truly, the Attitude City DJ’s.

The event is sponsored by the Minnesota Museum of American Art, Vision Management Group, Details Salon and Shakers Vodka.

Since this is a press only event it is not open to the public. However, since we love you so much… and since we know that you can’t resist top secret invite-only parties featuring beautiful models, hot fashion, and the best in attitude-driven disco music, we have arranged for a limited amount of tickets to be available through the MMAA website. You can thank us later.
