For those of you who have already bought a Yacht ticket – Congrats! The forecast today is absolutely stellar (clear and in the upper 70’s)! We at Attitude City are ready to pop the champagne and rock this party in style. We hope you are ready, too!

Info about the boat:

Our Yacht is a 70-foot vessel – the largest boat on Lake Minnetonka. The interior is air-conditioned/heated and completely enclosed with walls of tinted windows. There is a dance floor, sound system, full bar, and two restrooms. At the front of the boat there is an open-air bow area which is a perfect spot to enjoy the sun, stars, and sights of the lake. The top deck is open-air and has another full bar and an additional restroom.

Info about the after-party:

There will be an after-party immediately following the cruise so that we can keep on rockin! The party will be located at Kingman Studio’s in North East Minneapolis and will take place from 12:00 am – whenever. Admission is free for Yacht Club attendees – simply present your ticket at the door for free admission. If you do not have a Yacht Club ticket the admission is $5.00. There will be alcohol available. We will be providing the sound track to treat your feet.

SirMixalot Montreal – with special guest!

Mayhem! Wanton destruction! Willful disobedience! It’s all part and parcel when no less than 4 Attitude City Djs are herded by cattle prod into the same DJ booth. Montreal’s méchant miscreants Davey Lahteenmaa, Chris Pare and David Shaw invite MSP’s deft and dashing Jeff Dubois to help them mash the nearest pair of turntables into whiskey-soaked compost! Absolutely unnecessary! Refresh yourself on the rules and regulations in this previous post.

Yacht Party Update – Our summer sex cruise yacht extravaganza has been causing quite a buzz around town. Here is the official word: Attitude City has teamed up with Intellephunk productions and Kode, and the party is a GO! The date is Saturday August 26. We recommend being there no later than 8:00 pm. The boat will leave the dock at 8:30 PM SHARP – no exceptions, so get there early!! The location is Lake Minnetonka.

The yacht we have rented is a beautiful, all white, two-story boat with tinted black windows and a mahogany wood interior. It features two fully stocked bars and a light-up dance floor. The top deck can be covered if necessary so the cruise will be a rain or shine event. We will be bringing extra sound and the cruise will last four hours. We are planning an after party.

Tickets are currently being printed and should be available as soon as TONIGHT! The capacity is EXTREMELY LIMITED ! The party –WILL- sell out. There is no guest list. Tickets can be purchased from Karl Frankowski, Jeff Dubois, Andrew Wood, Angie Hanson, Sarah Swan, or Steve Seuling. Tickets are $25. Don’t miss the best party of the summer.

This week we have a special treat for you at our Thursday night Nami weekly – Joining us tonight are two of the nicest and most talented local DJs around:

1) Ryan Simatic – A Minneapolis originator… this will be his LAST appearance in Minnesota for quite some time as he is moving away to pursue greener pastures in Wisconsin!! Come witness Ryan’s sensual blend of house, techno, and hip hop. Let’s send him off in style. Much love and respect!!

2) JP – This man needs no introduction. The minimal techno master and IPR guru has been largely responsible for putting Minneapolis on the map when it comes to underground electronic music. Tonight we get to see some of his more obsure musical sides.
