We’ve had some amazing guests grace our night over the past couple of weeks (props out to MELON, and our big apple brethren SPECULATOR & RON MORELLI for keeping it extra crispy), but now it’s our time to shine. That’s right – back by popular demand, LOOSE JOINTS brings you: RESIDENT’S NIGHT: THE DRUNKENING.

Loosely based on HIGHLANDER 2: THE QUICKENING, resident DJs DAVID SHAW, DAVEY LAHTEENMAA and CHRIS PARÉ will attempt to decapitate one another with records until only one is left standing. To the victor goes the strength and knowledge of his opponents, as well as that night’s bar tab. Seriously though, we’re going to use the occasion to play our favourite all-time records – Chris will drop a set of house and select tracks from the ’80s, Dave is going miniature with a set of 80’s and disco, all on 7″ vinyl, and Davey plans to whet our appetite with an Alma Mater bisque of breaks.

So join us in the thin, sultry air of the second floor of Le Social (1445 Bishop, the old Mansion), recent recipient of a full audio makeover and sonic seaweed wrap. The night is still NO COVER, and the staff is attractive and genuine in a way that will make you question your current relationship.

Having toured and produced with the likes of Legowelt, Bangkok Impakt, Mr Pauli and Brennan Green, both lads make their Montreal DJ debut at Le Social as Loose Joints’ special guests.
