bears the name of Hercules and Love Affair. Tell me, for he has bested
the ascent to Olympian realms and now messengers run forth shouting
the news of the day, “He comes soon to claim the Mount Royal!”
Man-servants mix wine with water and prepare whirling tables resting
on cloths of damask; others roast boars and stuff wild game, awaiting
the cascades of rhythms and melodies to turn faces both mortal and
immortal Heaven-ward. Thomas Von Party of the House of Turbo is to
bring vinyl plates of gentle acid, yet they will have the effect of ten-fold
casks of old, well-ripened wine, unblended and fit for a god to drink.
And yea, before him, Davey Lähteenmaa, ward of Attitude City brings
the celebration to its commencement on chariot wheels of steel adorned
with gold and bronze.
So, Dancers of Mount Royal, after a weary day of toil and battle, let
your servants wash your feet and anoint you with fragrant oils,
dressing you in your finest clothes of embroidered silk and silvery
threads. Dance in the darkened halls of Zoobizarre before the child of
morning, rosy-fingered Dawn, comes to rouse you from a well deserved
slumber!
